Rural Women Making Change

Rural Women Making Change is an alliance of community organization members, academics and individuals across Canada. Our projects expand knowledge about the social, economic and political processes that hinder the full participation, effectiveness and well being of rural women and their advocates, and create collaborations for making change.

Rural Women Making Change

The five year Rural Women Making Change research alliance supports research projects about change in places where rural women live and work.

Research Highlights

Below are some of the key research documents from the collection of diverse literatures in the RWMC research database. These are often produced by non-profits serving women through community-based action research, provincial and federal institutions policy documents and position papers as well as academic research papers and references. These are organized into a database for use by rural organizations, policy analysts, scholars and others. Feel free to explore the collection.
